Fall 2012 - Abigail (3), Liberty(1) and Jedidiah (4 1/2) |
Of course a big factor is that it is very affordable and is available to buy used on Amazon. I was shocked to find out how much some curriculums were costing, and for 3 and 4 yr olds!! It is perfect for me and the busyness of having three under the age of four. It is very clear to follow, fun for me and my children and literally tells me exactly what to say (i.e. "Say..."). There is no, or very little if any, prep work for me to do. We just do the lesson for the day, review the drill charts and do the appropriate flashcards and then the workbook. I love that it is simple, just like school should be at their age. I really love how it is 100% Bible based! Scripture is incorporated through out and it is a great way to teach them about the Bible. The pace it sets is so doable even with me being so busy. They encourage you to go in sequence with a pace that is comfortable for you and your child's abilities. Another thing I like about it is, I can sit with my children on the couch and do it! You really can do it anywhere.
I highly recommend this curriculum, and I haven't even used it for very long! I purchased some of it from their website and then found the Flashcards used on Amazon for a great deal. Check out their website and see what you think. They have everything you need in a kit or you could do as I did and buy some used.
Here is the link to their website: Christ-Centered Curriculum
I will more than likely give an update at the end of this school year.
Love this photo!!! ;)
