The World of Cloth Diapers

And yes, let me tell you, it is a world of its own. There are endless varieties of cloth diapers in all colors and patterns and all ranging in varying prices. I have only used the Bum Genius diapers and have enjoyed them, but I am about to test my waters on a different diaper. One that is also much... much cheaper in price. ($4.59 ea.!!!) As for the quality, well we shall see. From what I have read, they should be fine. I have ordered only one diaper just in case I don't like it. (Although I have a feeling I will love it.) They are the diapers made by Alvababy. (Pictured right.)

I ordered my diaper at the beginning of this month and will get it sometime this next week. For free shipping it will take your order 3-4 weeks to arrive because they are coming directly from China. They offer free shipping on all products. I have also ordered two wet bags as well.

There is another company in Canada, (I think might be a seller of Alvababy but I'm not exactly sure), and they are Kawaii Baby. Here is a quote from their website;

All Kawaii Baby Diapers and covers are custom made in China and have been attested by some international organizations. Our manufacturer created them to our specification of softness, durability and absorbency. The workers are very happy and satisfy from their jobs. The working place where they have to spend all day is neat, clean and well ventilated, that's why they can produce the best quality diapers. We recently noticed some people trying to offer the same patterns and fabric just like ours, but our diapers have features that are different and we have no outsourced manufacturer.

The diapers are $6.99 ea. for a snap-closure pocket diaper. It is only free shipping from Kawaii if I spend $70 or more. But they would arrive sooner. They don't have as large a selection as Alvababy but they still have a good amount to choose from. (pictured below.)

So far I have not found a cloth diaper company in the U.S. that is this affordable. My Bum Genius are $17.95 ea.! I did buy two 6-packs and one 12-pack, but that only knocks off a few dollars each diaper, if that.
